What is this?
This will be somewhat of an "exploratory" trip because the club hasn't run this section for several years. The Sauk usually has a lot of wood hazards that shift from year to year so we'll be scouting anywhere we can't see a save route. The water level is forecast to be quite low (around 1600 cfs). There are 2 take-out option: the first at about 8 miles and the second at 13 miles below Darrington. If we have enough vehicles, we can leave a car at the first take-out, in case we're slow getting down the river.
If the water level is lower than 1600 cfs, we can switch to the NF Stillaguamish.
