This quirky lake has one small inlet and no outlet, plus an outline like those amoebas you looked at through a microscope in high school biology class -- lots of arms to explore. Speed limit 5 mph for most of the lake. Deep woods surround it, so wind is almost never an issue. Sound like a perfect place for a mid-summer paddle? Pack your picnic lunch and join us in Thurston County, about 8 miles south of the Nisqually delta.
